Today, Harpur's Hill was thrilled to host the amazing Gary Wallace, founder of CORE Kids, as he embarked on a remarkable journey: the CORE Kids Big Cycle!
From Monday 22nd to Friday 26th September, Gary will be cycling an impressive 300 miles across seven counties and visiting 20 schools along the way. During his stop at our school, he took a break from pedaling to treat our P5, P6, and P7 classes to an energetic CORE Kids workout. It was a fantastic way to inspire our students, and there were plenty of smiles shared as everyone joined in.
The Big Cycle is not only about cycling; it focuses on two vital causes. Firstly, it aims to raise money for two incredible local charities, TinyLife and Children’s Heartbeat Trust, both of which offer crucial support to numerous children and families across Northern Ireland. Secondly, it’s about getting young people excited about physical activity and showing them that moving can be fun!
