During this week's Cycling Proficiency session, we were guided by our assessor Elaine from the Department for Infrastructure. She taught us how to safely turn from a main road into a side road, including those controlled by traffic lights. The children learned to check carefully for traffic, position themselves correctly, and signal clearly before making their turn. This valuable lesson helped build their confidence and awareness, ensuring they understand how to stay safe when cycling on busier roads. Thank you to Elaine for leading this session.
